Twitter Inc (TWTR) Exhibits New Mobile Tool ‘Fabric’ In A Cross-Country Roadshow: Are They Trying To Reinvent Themselves?

Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s CEO Dick Costolo was under fire as many investors openly stated that Costolo might not be managing Twitter for very long. In a recent move Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) has started a cross-country roadshow to pitch in its new tool kit for app developers, which might help them in easy app development. Boorstin reported that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) is displaying its now mobile tool in 18 cities around the world in a roadshow. She said that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) is doing the roadshow to convince developers that its mobile tool is pretty got for developing apps and make money out of it. She added that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) kicked off its roadshow in Los Angeles, which received huge response from developers as many of them attended it. She said that many of those developers liked Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s tool.

Boorstin said that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) displayed its mobile tool ‘Fabric’ in the roadshow at LA, which helps the user in every phase in the app building and it also helps them to include advertisements in tweets, which Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) will utilize for making money.

HR Cloud software engineer, Sergio Trevino said that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s mobile tool is definitely one of the technology that would help them in developing apps for future.

“I am hoping to find out exactly what value it brings to consumer, once we have had a publish in the app,” Benjamin Magos, Payforward [I]OS Engineer said.

Boorstin said that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) is taking directly on other big names like Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) and Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) who also have their respective tools to help the app developers.

“So we want to go out and meet people, where they are, what they are building. Hear the challenges that they are facing. Hear how we can help them and see what comes out of the whole thing,” Bear Douglas, Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) Lead Developer Advocate said about the roadshow.

Boorstin said that Costolo is trying to convince investors and the Wall street that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) is not a company which makes money out of selling ads to 284 million active users. She pointed out that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) might soon launch new video tool, which might change the user and advertiser perspective on them as well.
