Research In Motion Ltd (BBRY): Ex-Apple Inc. (AAPL) CEO Has Some Advice

Sculley was quoted recently in an interview, because he ran one smartphone company and has been a longtime, loyal user of Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) devices. His advice might be a bit of a shock to those who, like Sculley, have been crazy about the physical keyboard on BlackBerry devices. But when asked about BlackBerry’s prospects, Sculley still sounded bullish, saying this: “The clock is running on them. They can come back if they drop hardware and focus on secure messaging.”

This was coming from a guy who admits to writing “pages” of messages on his BlackBerry. Well whatever happens, at least billionaire fund manager Jim Simons has committed a very small portion of his portfolio (see it here) to BlackBerry stock. But do you think he’ll pull out?
