Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Gives Away 100GB OneDrive Storage To Dropbox Users

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is giving away free online storage on OneDrive – 100GB to be exact – to Dropbox users.

The giveaway from the Windows maker follows the announcement by Dropbox of its official app for Windows Phone, a milestone the storage company said is the result of their partnership with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT).

“100 GB of free OneDrive storage for 1 year. A gift to current Dropbox users for installing OneDrive,” Microsoft announced on a special landing page for the OneDrive bonus for Dropbox users.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), though specifying that the free 100GB of OneDrive space will be valid for a year, did not identify a period for the promotion. For Dropbox users who wouldn’t mind extra storage space on OneDrive, they should head over to the promotions page and sign up just in case this is a limited offer.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) giveaway also comes on the heels of another 100GB free online storage offer for those signing up for Bing Rewards. It’s not as generous, however, as the Bing Rewards giveaway was for 100GB space valid for two years. Still, the OneDrive promotion for Dropbox users is still pretty openhanded.

Microsoft, Dropbox, OneDrive, is MSFT a good stock to buy, giveaway, promotion
