Engaged Capital Reports New Position In Jamba, Inc. (JMBA)

Is Jamba, Inc. (NASDAQ:JMBA) a good investment? Glenn W. Welling seems to think so. Welling has recently initiated a position for his fund, Engaged Capital. As reported in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Engaged Capital has built a position that amasses 1.2 million shares or 7% of the total number of shares outstanding.

Glenn J. Krevlin is also bullish on Jamba, Inc. (NASDAQ:JMBA), having boosted his fund’s stake in the company by 134% during the first quarter of 2014. In its latest 13F filing, Krevlin’s Glenhill Advisors has reported ownership of approximately 888,100 shares. Israel Englander has also become a fan of the company and has initiated a new position for his fund, Millennium Management. At the end of the first quarter, Millenium reported the holding of approximately 65,300 Jamba, Inc. (NASDAQ:JMBA) shares. Christopher Shackelton and Adam Gray are not so optimistic, though, and have chosen to limit their exposure to this stock. At the end of Q1, their fund, Coliseum Capital, has reported a 54% reduction in their stake to 483,400 shares.
